Not to get in the middle of English 101, but where are you working these days?
If you want to utilize Endeavor facts, use them. Don't hide behind a bankruptcy contract on LOA's approaching #70 with improvements post BK.
$20k/yr per pilot?
Going up to 180/yr to DL by SSP?
At least 100 upgrades between now and December 2015?
Hiring to regrow to -200 fleet?
It's not 2011, it's not 2014. Things change, that's the regional world. I won't talk bad about other carriers, because we are supposedly posting facts, and that would be speculation beyond available contracts and known service agreements.
If you want to post facts, don't be a journalist looking for a story. Post the facts and hope that everyone applying actually does the homework and is getting info from folks on property. Every applicant may look at some things the same, but what fits "their mold" is different. The idea of "when I was there..." Is outdated once you walk off property. Heck, flica just got changed again to the pilots benefit.. That memo is either hot off the press or will be out in the next day or two. Point being, once you leave a carrier on the regional level you are no longer "in the know" and historically folks seem to knock any good news arriving after their departure. Not sure what that's all about while still talking facts.

However, until, and IF, AWAC gets some new planes, their future is very uncertain.
If you stand firm with that industry leading contract, Doug and tonic is going to break you, or just wind you slowly down, providing pilot fodder for his babies that enjoy bending over(like PSA).
Meanwhile, RAH(with a new contract coming), and Endeavor both have new shiny aircraft with long lifespans that are scheduled to take over for the aging CRJ200 fleet.
If it were me, I'd still take Endeavor for a NY base. No brainer.

Please correct me if I am wrong but doesn't the SSP only guarantee an interview? Isn't it a very easy way for Delta to control staffing at Endeavor by "interviewing" pilots then sending them back to Endeavor indefinitely? Why have SSP and not a simple flow program? I didn't hear any complaints when Delta did it with Compass and Mesaba. All I'm getting at is an interview is not a job and I wouldn't bank on it ever turning into one. Especially when Delta has the ability to hire from literally any other regional. Much less one they own.
Currently the SSP is only for all pilots who were here when the SSP agreement was signed in conjunction with the Bankruptcy LOA. Everyone that I have spoken to believes that once the SSP commitment is exhausted to currently eligible pilots, the program will then be extended to those who were hired post BK. Whether that happens or not? No guarantees.
Whether you like the SSP or not, there are things with the SSP that could be better. We have folks being held back (with a loss of seniority) until they are released to go to DL by staffing. If you are hired off the street you would be in class in the next month or two, where the SSP will be longer. That is a negative. A positive is you get a DL interview and a 60-80% pass rate. Many pilots can't even get an interview with better qualifications outside of Endeavor, so it's worth something.
In the end, it's better to have it than not to have it, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion on what it's "worth".

The SSP is not a flow. I don't have the exact stats in front of me, but it seems that the interviews are getting a 60-80% pass rate which varies in each interview group. All of the guaranteed slots for 2015 are full and 2016 is being filled with ongoing interviews. Even if DL decided right now to start turning down every single endeavor pilot, there are still 200+ folks who have a CJO to go to DL. I don't see the numbers changing to a lower percentage as the success rate has only been steadily increasing as time has gone on and folks are more prepared. DL seems very against flows these days as they like to choose who they want and not be forced to take folks in a flow agreement.

I'm going to get a lot of flack for saying this but here it goes:
Get an interview scheduled with RAH if you want a JFK/LGA base. Right now, the place is a train wreck and wouldn't wish this place upon my greatest enemy BUT who knows what will happen with a new contract. Negotiations are supposed to be done next week, if not tomorrow. I'm not optimistic, but we COULD see something fair out of it. Bedford is finally realizing that flying is now going to someone that could staff it, not necessarily for the cheapest... I've heard a lot of rumors that I won't bother posting here. But, there could be a TA in writing presented to us in the first half of May, what's in it is still unknown. There's no harm in at least getting an interview scheduled, see if they offer you a class. By that point, you hopefully have a new contract to look at. Like it- you have a class date waiting. Don't like it- just go to Endeavor or AWAC. Just a thought. No harm in interviewing.
