I'm no better at reading the tea leaves than anyone else but I don't think any of the majors anywhere is "hand scoring" anything in the application process...

From what I understand they login to their version of the airlineapps.com interface and select parameters that they want to filter by and that in turn pulls those applications that meet the criteria from the 10,000+ that are on file and spits them back at the person in front of the computer. They then start reviewing more in depth if they choose and start sending invites from there...

That being said... I don't know squat...

My app was on file for around 3 to 4 years, just got the invite at the end of February 2015.
