As an FO I really love the CCI app. You can save all pertinent papers such as the TPS, flight plan, and even crew/hotel info, right onto your iphone or ipad. That way if you head to the jet early you don't have to wait on any printed paperwork.

They are telling us that the next step, coming soon, will be a paperless cockpit, where the above mentioned CCI app paperwork will be legal to use for the flight, and the captain just signs off everything electronically. Heck LAA captains already do an electronic sign-off--all we are really waiting for is a 3G/4G connection on our company ipads so we can get the paperwork away from wifi locations.

So I think the merged "New American" can look forward to this too...
That's smart, everything should be on ipad.
