While "doing nothing" is certainlly a possibility in either or both openers and/or any eventual TA, just doing that (IOW nothing) won't help the regional model remain viable in the slightest. I'd rathr have recapture/sunsetting/etc too, but letting it die off on its own is far from the worst thing that could happen.
