These are pulled off of APC, not actual contracts so it could be different. There's pluses and minuses to both places, I'm not debating that. I'm debating the fact that we are the lowest paid Airbus pilots.
I'll give you transition conflict but the rest is just meh. VX min is 70 for line holder and 75 for reserve. Hourly rates alone were higher even before the new payraise, so you'd have to rely on the soft time/transition to come out better --- and in likeliness could. With the new payraise there is a stark difference now, but I'm not sure who or why someone said NK was industry bottom for Airbus pay. It isn't. And besides that contract was gained in a strike in one of the worst economic conditions when every legacy/major airline was operating in BK type contracts/pay. IMO the NK contract was great for the time it was signed. Hoping you guys the best and good negotiations ahead now that it's 2015 and the tide has turned economically.
