The ONLY mainline aircraft purchase which can relax the current scope at United would be the CS100, E190 or E195. It is very specific to those aircraft types in the United pilot contract. As 24/48 said, the United MEC is not budging on that. They want to establish a precedent that the 90-100 seat aircraft belong at mainline. I'm all for it. I was reading today that United and Delta scope are now very similar.
