When you take a job at a night cargo operation you can pretty much give up on sleeping during a normal cycle. You can't have it all. If you want to sleep on the right side of the clock, go to United. I agree with what you are saying about sleep cycles. There isn't a universal solution, I'll take my chances on a longer layover that I can get a nap in.
