We're not upset at Alaska. We never were. I like Alaska as an airline. They seem cool. We were only ever upset that we agreed to a huge code share abuse loophole and that the company was taking advantage of to the max with Alaska. Alaska can do whatever they want; we never cared. We only cared how much they did on behalf of DL and the DL code. I'm guessing if JB did the same with Alaska or VX or anyone else you wouldn't like that very much either.
I hope you get very good scope in your first CBA. It is truly the most important section of a contract.
It sure comes across to many of us who read this forum that the Delta pilots are upset with Alaska. Let me ask a question of you: Alaska didn't have a right to say, "thanks but no thanks" to major changes in our code share that did nothing to benefit Alaska? Also, how's your code share working with Delta, especially with Korean, KLM and Air France? If I was you I'd be worried about that and not Alaska.
