It makes a whole lot of sense to operate the entire E-jet fleet at END, and have mainline pilots fly them. The lease back program would be under bid by Endeavor, which would bleed money here, but would show massive profits for mainline. Endeavor would then be kept afloat by free cash injections like the retention bonus. This would provide a boost to EPS, without any effect on the bottom line, or any additional mainline balance sheet debt.
