I don't follow this logic. They are the only ones with outstanding options? This is a United order, not a Skywest order. United will own these airplanes; the initial 10 that are firm, as well as the 18 options.
No carrier has been named to operate this new order. So at this point it's all conjecture. Could they go to Skywest? Sure. Could they go to Mesa? Sure.
Skywest DID firm up options for 8 E175's to be operated under the Alaska brand. Is that what you're referring to?
