For those in this forum who are already flying the line at 9E, what are the practical pros/cons of LGA and JFK? Would you say one base is better or worse than the other? If so, why?
Neither are wonderful, but I've bounced been in both and what I've found is getting into and out of LGA is usually easier, but they have more trips that start at 5:30am-8am, so are essentially uncommutable on the front end. Also, when the weather turns bad LGA is quicker to cancel flights due to the runway configuration when JFK will still be operating. Crew room in LGA is horrible as well.
