Yeah, I have to side with you de727ups but what texaspilot is referring to and really all he knows is the 121 sim training so far. I can agree with him that 2000 hours flying VFR in a slow single engine piston won't do much to prepare one for the level D CRJ sim sessions. Now 2000 IFR hours in anything is a little different and would certrainly help on some level or another.
