Flows and SSPs are metering programs for the wholly owned. They are not jobs programs, or gifts. In the past, until Comair screwed it up, wholly owned carriers got seniority numbers.
The point of these programs is to allow the mainline to hire off the street instead of hiring everyone at the WO first. In other words, these programs are designed to keep you here, and maybe get you to mainline someday.
And this is the failure of ALPA. Why give someone equal status over a job or better jobs at ALPA carriers that has never paid dues compared to those that have? Why not have everyone start at the true bottom?
