This C44 letter and Anderson's message are all about fear of the future.
They've realized they can't get the votes if they rely on the TA's merits.
We need to get the message out that ALPA's dire warnings about what will happen if we vote no are totally unfounded.
ALPA is scared. The Delta pilots should NOT be scared.
After this inadequate TA is rejected we will move forward in a calm and deliberate manner. Contract 2012 will remain in effect and we will make the necessary changes regarding our bargaining team and then return to the negotiations.
Management wants this contract more than we do. That's why they've pushed it through 6 months early. We do NOT have to agree to all these concessions. Let's send it back and do it right.
