And it got shot down in a blaze of glory. That said, legacy negotiations and regional negotiations aren't very comparable. You're right though, I think you'd be hard pressed to find many pilots who think ALPA is looking out for regional pilots' best interests. Our own ALPA reps are well intentioned, but that's not enough. Why a regional ALPA, RALPA, hasn't been formed in the last 20 years is beyond me. There's a very clear conflict of interest between legacy and regional pilots, though at least scope doesn't seem to be for sale anymore.

Many of us would love to see the regional model burn, but unless we could escape the Railway Labor Act, that's most likely just wishful thinking. As is, sadly, getting out of the Railway Labor Act.
