No dog in this fight MadDog, but it starts getting gray when you are on the company's property, during time when you are being paid by the company or using company supplied materials (electrons / paper / mailboxes / etc.).

I believe there was a case that went in favor of LABOR when it came to using company email accounts to organize on the employee's own time, but don't quote me on that one.
