7 fewer lines in August than July (down to 64 I think), which is about what I expected with the LAX flying going away and the summer season winding down. December hires are the most junior to hold PHX. There seems to be quite a few lifer FOs in PHX, so movement is slower than other bases. No one seems to know the future of PHX both for AA mainline or regional carriers (Mesa and SKW). I don't see it shrinking more than it the loss of the LAX flying will yield. And I don't see AAG reducing to only one regional here, so I'm guessing SKW and Mesa will remain here in roughly the same ratio as it is now. But who knows. Either way, you'll get to experience life at DFW for a little while most likely.
