Which, is why they all have to go. All of them. All of them. Then we need time. They have done more damage than imaginable.
The LAST thing we need is another quick TA-2.
I don't think a quick return is possible, and I will offer my reasons.
1. Donatelli is probably punching out.
2. Recalls still have to happen, and the MEC will simply not function until this process has been honored. It's anyone's guess how "successful" those will be.
3. One-third of the MEC is up for election in two months. They take office in March.
4. Somewhere in that mess, a new MEC chair, admin and committee corps will have to move in.
5. New negotiators, polling, a survey, anything to get a faint clue about what will actually pass MEMRAT. I'm not convinced that the reps of C1 and C20 will actually vote in favor of anything that isn't a complete capitulation by management.
6. The victory laps and witch burnings are still ongoing, and the pilot group needs to calm down and think about what the next offer will resemble. A two-way deal will have something for us, and something for management; anybody saying otherwise is a populist and a panderer.
