Most if not all Den 320 guys will go to Den 737 Ca. If they secondary bump those 40 737 Ca's in a month that will leave the junior 737 guy in Den ~ 5090
Ouch.
I met a 2005 LCAL guy who got the 737 Captain seat in DEN before the SLI. He was moving there and buying a big house. I tried to explain the bump risks, but he thought "no bump, no flush" meant that he could never lose his Captain seat.
No need to argue. I knew he'd figure it out eventually.
Now he knows.
Probably need 20 years to hold the left seat in DEN after all this settles.
