I get up, get dressed in the uniform, drive however long to the airport, and am there ready to go at a moment's notice, then I should get 2 hours of pay credit. 2:1 duty. I'm not saying this goes ABOVE reserve guarantee, but credits towards that like a trip assignment does. In some months, it would have helped me go over guarantee.
Its one thing to sit at home out of uniform on short call, but if you are expected to go to the airport, you should credit duty time and duty rig.
Totally agree, in fact I say abolish the F.stby all together, or pay us extra 5 hours credit to MMG for reserve. I have that in my survey. Please put it as a suggestion in current or upcoming survey. There will be a lot of surveys before we start negotiating new contract, if there are enough complains about particular subject, it will be renegotiated.
