There's what we deserve and what the market says we deserve. Now, that being said, TSA Flight Attendants were offered a nickle raise during their first round of negotiations. So, you're saying that management is being generous?
If you are at the bottom of the list in terms of contracts, I believe you should absolutely do your best to argue for industry average. There isn't a mediator in this world who would look at you with stupid eyes if you just wanted to "be like everyone else." That's not being ridiculous at all.
