Something else to consider. When I attended the FAA Aviation Accident Investigation Course back in the late nineties I was given this statistic. 80% of the worlds air traffic was domestic US. The rest of the world was 20%. 80% of the worlds commercial hull losses occurred in that 20%. I bet those ratios are pretty close today. Nothing safer than domestic 121. Works for me!
