I'd stay put unless you really hate your job, or your commute really blows. However we've had regional captains come here and left shortly for FedEx. I can think of one guy in particular who's still here who was a regional captain and I think he's happy with his decision to come to Omni. No one quite knows the code to getting hired at a major, but it seems like regional captains are all headed there.

This job is tons of fun if you're good with the schedule. Most of the single/young guys love it.. The job, not necessarily the company that is. There's nothing else really like it.

I was never at a regional, so I'm not even sure if my advise carries any weight.
