My comment on the 2006 payout was simple. Bonuses (supposedly back pay) did not match pay rates. As a SO my pay rate was about 70% of the FO rate but my bonus was about half. Hard to pretend that is fair in any way. This time my bonus is about 70% of a captains. That is fair. The difference is in 2006 we were bottom heavy with new hires. My comment was simply to point out the fairest way to pay the bonus would be to give everyone 130 hours. That way it is faithful to seniority.
That clears up my misconception, thanks. No poke or insult intended, sorry for the misunderstanding. There were lots of things that were not fair with the DW & BC leadership.
