80+ hours????? You have to be kidding? Anyone needing 80+ hours of IOE to learn how to fly a plane should not be a pilot. This is another reason not to hire low time pilots.
One of the folks in the class behind me ended up doing 3 four day trips of IOE, I'm sure he/she needed the experience, and given the fact that he/she had the right attitude, I think the company made the right decision. Since then, the individual has been through a PC and tons of great reviews from everyone they've flown with.
I'll like to know what your experience is with this subject, what company do you work again?
