I got a CJO Today, told to expect to start in early January. The Tech Skills assessment has replaced the sim ride and is pretty straightforward. About 30-40 minutes long, you chair fly a leg, briefing the departure and approach, with a straightforward malfunction en route and a divert at the end. It's one on one with a UAL captain. At the end you watch a cockpit CRM video and critique it.
All in all I was there for 2.5 hours.
The guys around my time slot were mostly 121 guys (4/6), only two military transitions.
