I think you answered my last question.
Rock, you keep asking what someone's strategy should be for going forward. Its not up to us as to the strategy, its up to the MEC. We have the MEC and NC that should have an idea of what should be done. We pay them, to lead and know whats going on. If the MEC and NC haven't thought of the chance of a NO vote, then they aren't prepared. If we have the option to vote yes or no, then the Union should be prepared to deal with whatever the voting pilots decide.[/QUOTE]

So far, the response from the MEC about the way ahead if this TA gets voted down is "We really don't know." Realize that our union has only one vote in determining the negotiation's timeline, and it isn't a majority vote. They don't get to dictate the future.
I take it, you aren't one of the no voters who believes our MEC and NC should be removed? If you do think they should be removed, the last thing you should want is the people you are about to fire making long range plans the incoming team will have to inherit.
If you want them to remain, listen to what they are very clearly and plainly telling us. What they have negotiated is the best they can do. They are out of ideas. 10 out of 14 MEC members agree with the NC. That would indicate to me that they've played all their cards and have laid them on the table. They are done.
