On July 21, the United MEC sent out a link to a video explaining domestic scope considerations. I thought it was pretty interesting as it laid out how ALPA was angling to increase mainline flying regardless of whether or not we get a NSNB. Here is the address:

In Upfront News, there is also an interesting video with BZ discussing "What aircraft are we looking at?" where he pretty much shoots down the E-190. I hear the C-Series is nice and I imagine Bombardier is offering some pretty good deals. That said, I think the shift of some widebodies to domestic flying and the acquisition of used Airbii suggests the company is not going to get a NSNB anytime soon.
Know what I'd love to see in a contract... a scope clause for management. Limitations on pay, stock options, micromanaging, layers of management, daily email blasts, and visits from the good idea fairy. I can dream can't I?
