There is no way the TSA contract is for only two years. They don't sign short term deals. It's taken, with the aircraft on the scheduled delivery cycle, almost a year to show up anyway when it's all said and done.
There is no way TSA signed a deal to fly the full fleet for essentially 1 year only to have them returned unless they have a replacement plan for them in action already negotiated.
They'd lose money in the costs to train everyone as well as open a new base. All the training required for current crew members for the new FMS, etc
That sort of contract would not make financial sense unless AAG is paying them a ton of money to fly it. It would be very out of character for this company to do that.
Isn't it public that the AA Birds at Compass are on until 2020, or is that Delta?
I've heard 4-5 years here. So unless you have some actual proof, not union rumors, that's all this is...a rumor. A factless one at that.
