Commuting: It is hard from MSP to either DTW or MEM. However, keep the faith, when it looks like there is no way you will make it on, often you still make it at the last minute. If you want MSP and are on the Saab, you shouldn't have to wait more than a few months. If you are on the 900, you will have to wait until the delivery schedule permits.

Personally, as far as MSP is concerned, I think DTW is a much easier commute than MEM. Coming home from DTW to MSP there is a nice garbage run at 10:30 PM that usually has room for everyone who has been bumped all day long. There is no equivalent coming from MEM. And we all know that the commute that really matters is the one towards home.

As far as going to work, the "call in honest" policy actually works very well.
