If youre going to commute I'd say ORD cuz of traffic and accessability. (Depending on where u live and # of flights to/from "home") Great crews out there too. I asked the same question to a Sr. E145 CA ORD and even though there is crazy traffic at ORD, LGA is worse. He said he gets stuck out LGA and JFK plenty.

Plus, as a Chicagoan I think you'll like the area around ORD a little better. Not to bash New Yauwk for any reason but Chi is cleaner, safer/accessable (around ORD), Airline Community 2 stops away on the EL (blue line train). Check out Pavillion Apts.
