If youre going to commute I'd say ORD cuz of traffic and accessability. (Depending on where u live and # of flights to/from "home") Great crews out there too. I asked the same question to a Sr. E145 CA ORD and even though there is crazy traffic at ORD, LGA is worse. He said he gets stuck out LGA and JFK plenty.

Plus, as a Chicagoan I think you'll like the area around ORD a little better. Not to bash New Yauwk for any reason but Chi is cleaner, safer/accessable (around ORD), Airline Community 2 stops away on the EL (blue line train). Check out Pavillion Apts. You're sure to find airline crews to accommodate u. If any questions about ORD PM me. Can't wait to get home!

They tell you right away weather you passed or not. If you do, you get the medical exam the next morning. My hours are 1500 and 250. But there were guys hired the same day with way less! They just told them to get to at least 50hrs multi before the class begins.
You think the Focker 100 was fun, I got to fly the old 707 now that was a monster to fly around, but tons of fun! Take the ERJ if you get the chance. Lots of more flying and options to move around if you want. I had a friend on the 700 and he spent his two years there on reserve the whole time. Times are changing there but it is a super senior aircraft and it will be hard to move up the seniority very much if at all. Good Luck!
