You can do better about everywhere right now. With the low-time hiring mins for about all regionals, it makes it an easy case to get on early. You'll still make more than if you were flight instructing(although I still have the opinion everyone should flight instruct for at least 500hrs). The thing I'm worried about is all these folks just getting in right now, is the low-experience being placed into the cockpit of these jets. So the Captain has to not only do his/her job, but have an extra watchful eye on the SIC. I know there's tons of capable and suited new-hires, but actual "experience" is worth more than most people think.
