I won't take that bait but I'll give you a nibble. Yes, payrates are looked at and when determining industry average wage rate the hourly rates matter. They won't include a 20k bonus for pattern bargaining and comparison purposes and not to mention this bonus goes away at some point in the near future for whatever date they announced. In the bigger picture, this outlier is ignored. As for your 'Bus comments I really encourage you to go to APC and read up on what we make. It's not the best, but it certainly isn't the worst that you make it seem to be. This year's payraise was hourly-rate pay parity with jetBlue's previous year pay (2014 rate) which was effective at the time. This summer jetBlue got their increased to 2015 but at the time, we pretty much matched their rates. And jetBlue has the highest A320 pay rates after the 3 legacies.
