I would be new to the commuting world (and yes, I have a vague idea of what I'm getting myself into) so any advice about whether the NYC thing is a good or bad idea would be appreciated.

My overall experience with Endeavor has been very positive. The whole trip out there for the interview was seamless, from the BOS-MSP flights to the hotel, as well as the interview process. All of the people involved from both the HR and Flight Ops side were very friendly and professional, and there always seemed to be a plan as to what was going on. Good vibes from people all around that they were working at a place that is on an upward trajectory. The other 3 interviewees were great company as well, and all of us got CJOs. We all agreed that it was a positive experience that left us feeling good about the place. Granted, like the Army recruiter in Stripes telling you about all the wonderful, exotic destinations the Army will show you, all the kool-aid is taken with a grain of salt; however, the interview process was well run and organized and I genuinely felt as though I was interacting with people who were happy doing what they were doing.
LGA would probably be best with the Delta Shuttle running basically every hour.
