I was flying A-4's out of Navy Pensacola at the time. We had a modified departure called the Donna 2 for the time the 727 was in the bay, took us right over the top. They then barged the 727 to a hanger on the base. No one was allowed in the hanger but I snuck in, pretty amazing sight. Too bad it was before smart phones.
P.S. National named their jets and the Pensacola 727's name was Donna.
