Where are you based out of? I'm about to take my instrument checkride and am debating on going in with some fellow professional student-minded pilots on a Seminole or something with low fuel burn to take me up to the 250 hours.

Doing this through a loan from AOPA, then reselling, might be cheaper then renting.
