As far as this snarky little comment is concerned, I believe it is a good thing to stand up for yourself. Always have and always will. Your "victim mentality" term seems to imply that fighting back is wrong somehow, that one should just take it lying down. My character doesn't allow me to be bullied in silence, and I doubt that yours does either.
