I was told LOA 25 was because we thought it would look weird if an arbitrator placed a pilot with less longevity senior to one with more longevity and it may sway the Arbitrator's decision to use longevity to a greater extent since we were going to argue an hourly payrate based integration. That's also how we got these pay bands. Now that the SLI is done I agree, lets fix LOA 25. Paybands I don't really care.

319 to 320 A difference of 22 seats.
787-8 to 767-300 A difference of 2 seats but different bands.
Both were a game played by one side during the SLI to try to gain advantage that didn't work. Now IMO both need to be rectified.

And also imagine that you had a bad day out on the line, resulting in running off the side of the runway into the grass. While you made mistakes, the event nevertheless becomes a teaching event at TK with a scenario built around it. Everyone else gets to learn from your bad day that was shown on CNN despite the fact that nobody was injured.
Then imagine that a fellow pilot would come on this forum and use a picture of that event as his Avatar as a put down. All the while spreading his "I'm a victim" mentality at every turn.
How would you feel about him?

This is exactly the reason I resist posting on this forum. You try to make what you feel is a valid point and then you have to waste your time defending yourself against someone's misrepresentation of your avatar picture...
Next I'll claim my dad was an RV salesman and I am offended by your avatar, such that it is demeaning to his profession. Are we far enough off track yet?

As far as this snarky little comment is concerned, I believe it is a good thing to stand up for yourself. Always have and always will. Your "victim mentality" term seems to imply that fighting back is wrong somehow, that one should just take it lying down. My character doesn't allow me to be bullied in silence, and I doubt that yours does either.
