LTD costs around $120 per month after 12 months of employment, pays out up to $12.5k per month tax free from 18 months of disability until age 65. Eligible after 12 months of employment.
LOL is paid by the company or you can elect a tax free option and pay taxes now on the imputed income of the plan so the payouts later are tax free. Pays up to $11.5k per month from 6 months after disability for up to 60 months. Eligible after 12 months of employment.
