When it comes to resentment learn to deal with this and move on. I have heard Delta Air Lines is looking to see if you are deeply resentful during interview. The signs of which will most likely lead to them passing on your services.

On a different not the $39 per hour FO doesn't need a hike in pay just an upgrade. This package helps get bodies in the door. Bodies in the door helps aircraft come back from the desert. Aircraft coming back from the desert need captains. Those captains will be first officers who want to upgrade. The first officer upgrading will go from $39 per hour to something north of $70 depending on longevity. This $31 bump in pay will far exceed a increase in bonus to new hires. Growth is good and if this means upping bonus for new hires then I say "UP BONUS FOR NEW HIRES."
So you're saying take this and live to fight another day. Quite a change from the 2007 "**** new FOs" mantra by 9E ALPA for the payraise LOA they turned down. And your theory all falls apart when there are no upgrades. Then they are still stuck at $39/hr and that is a problem. You can't control when planes come and go, but you can control your payrate you have while all that crap happens.
