For someone hired today, 4-5 months after IOE is finished, more or less. It depends on your base. Once flying increases in the Spring and more lines are added for our new 900's, reserve time will decrease quite a bit.
It is available to any round 1 line holder. I was hired a year ago, and was holding a line after 3 months on reserve.
Sure beats being on reserve for 3 years at other companies.
