Today the cancellations so far.

Shuttle 26

Mesa is 13th on the list with 14 cancellations.
Total number of cancellations doesn't mean squat--what percentage of scheduled flights in IAH and IAD were cancelled at Mesa versus other carriers? That's the only comparative statistic that matters here.

Post that number and if it still holds up to your argument, I'll agree with you.

But for now, comparing total number of SWA cancellations to Mesa is like comparing the total number of systemwide United cancellations--for all carriers and mainline--to just one of the Express feeders...a.k.a. completely irrelevant to the discussion.

Our IAH base is tiny in comparison to XJet, SWA's Hobby base, etc..--of course Mesa had fewer total cancellations. Show me the percentage of scheduled flights cancelled that's the only number you'll convince anyone with.
