Does CVG being a new base mean that a new hire would have a pretty good chance at bidding it right away?

Does it appear that CVG would hang around for a while, all things considered, or could even a new base get shut down relatively quickly?

Thanks in advance, and PM me if that works better...
As of right now, there are no pilots on reserve in CVG. Everyone there is a line holder. That will likely change as new hires are sent there, but it is an understaffed junior base.

Most all of the CVG flying is just CLT or DAY flying that was taken for some unknown reason. CVG as a base makes little sense with DAY so close. Hopefully they will close DAY and move everything to CVG, including all off the corporate operations. The old Comair buildings would be perfect.
