Most all of the CVG flying is just CLT or DAY flying that was taken for some unknown reason. CVG as a base makes little sense with DAY so close. Hopefully they will close DAY and move everything to CVG, including all off the corporate operations. The old Comair buildings would be perfect.
I don't think DAY will close, it may shrink for the pilots as CVG grows. They just started construction on a new maintenance hangar. My question is how are we staffed with mechanics? A mechanic at the gate said they have had a bit of turn over due to working conditions.
