Why do I care? Because that 16 year contract that everyone hated so much actually protected us from the worst effects of everything since 9/11. Economic downturns, bankruptcies, etc. of surrounding regionals and major airlines had minimal effect on us including our furloughs. But hey, burn both engines to the gate, don't talk to your ground crew until they use the correct verbiage, don't do the walk around for your FO when he's got a tight connection, don't call for the gate agent when they're not there to help your tight connecting passengers. You're really sticking it to the man.

It's an OK company to work for. Not great, not awful, just OK. And maybe, just maybe if AAG puts their money where their mouth is, it'll be a nice ride for folks hired in the next couple years.
