Is the Gulf a potential threat? Absolutely it is obvious. Does China have major threats? Absolutely much more than the Gulf carriers as we previously discussed. In the end, I know you might think your helping but you are simply passing heedless advice and most pilots can watch CNN for that. Look in your own bed before you start tossing one liners about a region which is highly complex and where you don't even live or operate.
While I may not work in the region, I have interviewed there and been contacted by headhunters regarding management positions in the region, including in Saudi Arabia. I have seriously considered them in the past. Part of the consideration was doing a bit of research about the area. I am not an expert, not by a long shot, nor am I claiming to be. But I did gather enough info to decide it was not for me. And that was before the recent escalation.
If you take issue with pilots passing along information, or sharing their opinions based on information they have gathered, then perhaps an aviation based message board is the wrong place for you to be spending your time. Otherwise realise there may be differences of opinion and they can be shared without trying to start conflict or taking things as personal attacks.
As for looking in my own bed, I have done so quite a bit. Again, my post had nothing to do with China and your insistence that my opinion on the issue in the middle east was somehow a claim that China is better is completely baffling to me. I never said that, implied that or even believe that. Stop bringing something into this that was never there. Once again your insistence at making this an argument is astonishing.
