NE I don't disagree about your Gulf assessment but I do disagree about worthless advice being given by somebody who doesn't even work in the region. Pilots are big boys and will make their own decisions and take their own risks without heedless advice from somebody who doesn't even work in the region or understand all the underlying issues. Is the Gulf a potential threat? Absolutely it is obvious. Does China have major threats? Absolutely much more than the Gulf carriers as we previously discussed. In the end, I know you might think your helping but you are simply passing heedless advice and most pilots can watch CNN for that. Look in your own bed before you start tossing one liners about a region which is highly complex and where you don't even live or operate.

If you take issue with pilots passing along information, or sharing their opinions based on information they have gathered, then perhaps an aviation based message board is the wrong place for you to be spending your time. Otherwise realise there may be differences of opinion and they can be shared without trying to start conflict or taking things as personal attacks.
As for looking in my own bed, I have done so quite a bit. Again, my post had nothing to do with China and your insistence that my opinion on the issue in the middle east was somehow a claim that China is better is completely baffling to me. I never said that, implied that or even believe that. Stop bringing something into this that was never there. Once again your insistence at making this an argument is astonishing.

It's like somebody saying Don't go to New York City as it is dangerous when they live in the inner hood in Detroit.
It's like somebody saying don't have unprotected sex in the Middle East when they openly party in Bangkok.
I am certain you are feeling so much safer in China now.

You sometimes remind me of ATP Cliff who comes on here and recommends Etihad because it is located in Abu Dhabi. Really, Wow, we didn't know that great piece of information. The Middle East has risk. Wow, thanks again for that great tidbit.
