Personally I don't mind sitting on the F/A JS. No, they are not comfortable, but then either is the cockpit JS on the 757/MD88/737. When I ride on the F/A seat, I usually spend most of the flight standing up in the galley, trying to stay out of their way or help in any way I can. Sometimes it's funny to hear their stories of idiot passengers asking for all kinds of nonsense too. I know I wouldn't last 15 minutes doing their job.
The 757 Jumpseat is fine. Pull the back off the seat and stick it against the armrest. Face sideways and use your rolling bag as a footrest and it's much better then coach. I sleep pretty good that way.
