Then Delta offers a new deal right away for triple the amount previously and pays way above market prices for the jets. At least that's how our contract is supposed to go so I guess the same holds for aircraft.

Just apply the same idiotic theories you apply to our contract negotiations to other contract negotiations and you will see how ignorant they really are.
